Topic: Need help with VDJ 6/Hercules RMX settings.

I was wondering what all settings I need to have with VDJ 6 and my RMX when playing live. The sound settings, sound card settings, and any other settings I should be aware of. For sound card currently I am using "asio" with "Hercules dj console rmx asio". The asio settings are set to Sample rate:44,100hz, sample size 16 bit andasio buffer size 960 21ms.

I'll be running my RMX through a DJM 700 mixer and then out to the PA.

I was having a ton of problems such as a ton of static, I fixed that by turning off my wireless card and safe mode. I have auto gain set to "auto" because every time I loaded a track it would change the gain to something crazy it now automatically sets everything to 0 which is what I want, but I have noticed for some reason the gain knobs on screen still constantly change.

Also for some reason every track played on deck a is always a bit louder than everything loaded to deck b. Wondering what could be causing that issue as I have tried several different things and nothing has worked.

auto, will move the knob.. it will set your track to "zero" ..(normalized) output.
But level should be same on both decks, check volume sliders.

As far as static goes, try set it to AUTO at the latency drop down in performance tab, and also try overclock on (performance tab).

If that works good, try turn safe mode off.. dont use safe mode, unless needed, it produce a slight lesser hifi sound.

So auto is the correct setting to use to keep the gain at zero every time a track is loaded? Cool I got that.

Thanks for the reply but like I said I already fixed the static problem.

What I am basically asking is how I should have all of my settings/sound card settings set to play a live show. I am asking because I had vdj 5.2 and had everything set up perfectly, then upgraded to 6 and I cannot remember how I had everything set up, I just know there were certain settings you should adjust when playing live.
 
Try this for the RMX in 5.2



And then select the RMX in the sound config menu.
