Topic: hercules rmx question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i'm basically new to DJing and i've been looking around the internet for midi controllers. after lots of browsing i've come to the conclusion that i'm going to buy the hercules rmx. this is the first time i've ever bought anything for DJing so this might be a dumb question. when you buy a midi controller such as the RMX, does it come with all the necessary wiring? such as audio cables and/or USB cables?

cheers.

Controllers like the RMX only really come with USB cables. You will have to buy the necessery audio cables yourself.

The RMX comes with the drivers, Virtual DJ LE, a manual, a snazzy bag to carry it round in and a USB cable.
As stated above, you will need to supply your own audio cables but to be honest, you would want to do this with any type of DJ equipment you buy as they very rarely come with good quality cables.

awesome.. exactly what i was looking for.. what cables would you guys suggest?

1 rca cable to hook it up to ur amp or mixer!

and if u plan on using it with turntables ect u'll need other cables too...

A hint, buy it its really worth it! I just bought it, and I even got a 50% discount on Virtual DJ pro ;D
So basically you pay only 180$ instead of 330$, if you buy Virtual DJ pro (which you should, and I will after the trial is over)

plus the blue leds/lights are supercool, and its all in silver..
Just go to a DJ store and feel it, you'll fall in love with it =D

@edit, just noticed you already have Virtual Dj pro lol

sell/give the discount to a friend then, who's not sure if he wants to buy it or not.

been using the rmx over a yesr now and love love love it.once you map it to what you want away you go and enjoy hours of happy spinning.not sure but think you can buy from vdj in the products section/hardware
