Im using VDJ 6.2 on my Intel Dual Core Macbook running the last version of Leopard coupled with the Hercules RMX.
Everytime I load up a track and manually adjust the pitch slider on the Hercules when its playing, it automatically sets the pitch to the max minus setting. Very annoying. I thin have to rest the pitch to zero, the I can adjust OK
Any ideas? I have the latest drivers etc

How are you adjusting the pitch? Try and re-map the slider to "pitch_relative" and see how that works for you.

I have the mapper set as
param_multiply 1.5% & Pitch_relative
I want the pitch sensitivity to be very fine, as I use Virtual Vinyl to a degree, the fine tune switching off VV and adjusting the pitch very slightly sing the pitch sliders on the RMX
