Can someone recommend Pole Mount Brackets for LCD screens up to 37 inch so it can be mounted on regular speaker stands (tripods)? I see some online stores have them but I'm afraid to order if it doesn't fit or work.

first of all find out the safe working load of your stands, then the diameter of the pole it is to attach to after that you should be good to go.

I use 4 clamps that fit around the t-bar on my crank up tripod stand. I then ran the bolts through the LCD wall mounting plate which is attached to the LCD monitor. I have used this method for about a year.

What I did was buy a wall mount kit at Home Depot. Then I took it apart and welded the screw plate to a bracket I made to attach to the pole of the stand. Then I painted the screw plate that I welded to the mounting bracket and it looks like I bought it that way.
Attach the mounting bracket with screw plate to the stand, bolt on the LCD and it looks beautiful!
Everyone asks me where I bought the LCD stand from.
Mine....

I got rid of the tripod legs and added this heavy-duty chair base and casters instead

This is how a fellow VDJ member (Kamakuakane) did his....

I can safely say that my mount is inexpensive and will safely support a 42" LCD on a standard lightstand without any issues. Mounting the TV to the stand takes less than a minute. It can be built with some simple hand tools and parts easily found at your local hardware store.

Thats nice work Rude. Mine is far simpler but I dont really do gigs where anyone would be playing with it.
Bought two hooks from the hardware shop and screwed them on the back using the holes provided for mounting a baseplate, and I just hook it over a tripod lightstand. Its only 32" though - wouldnt try it with anything heavier.
