Topic: Time-code vinyls????

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello all,

I'm new in this of Dying, but reciently I got a Dj Console, which works cool.

However, I'm very curious about how the Time-code vinyls work...

I understand you would need a PC, but then VDJ can't control the BPM's and so on.
Given that, the Time code vinyls and Cd's would work only like a human interface for the computer.

How are they working?
How is the feeling?

Does they work like playing regular records?

Thanks in advance to you all.

Regards.

The TCV's work incredible, it feels very much like real vinyl. True, the Beatlock doesn't work. Yes, you need a PC, turntables and an external mixer. Also a higher end soundcard like the Maya 44 usb. They do work great though.

djej gave a good comment, but forget that you also need the full version to use the additional sound card (eg Maya USB) in Asio mode

sUPERSTOM :
YOU are wrong . you don't need the full version to work in asio mode with TCV

Sorry,
I was thinking that the Sound Card tab was disabled in the Demo version. On the other hand, it is not very usefull to buy the time code vinyls and have then only a month using the Demo version.
This could be usefull with a Hercules version.
