Do you use dual display, ie same picture on all monitors or span across? Is the problem worse when loadind a track?

i tried a lot of setups,i made the external monitor the only monitor cause i figured that would speed it up but no luck, the problem isnt with the mouse or anything but at the top of the screen where u see the visual display of the track scrolls past very choppy, other then that there is no problems with the display

i has to do with your laptop capabilities. What is the configuration of your laptop CPU,RAM, VGA

problem solved, i was using the overflow at 1400x 900 and i just found the overflow 1200x800 and its running fine, i needed this new skin because of the scratch function
but im running vista 32 bit on a gateway laptop with a 1.60GHz processor and 1014mb ram,vga im not sure what that is

You certainly need a better vga card to run a secondary screen. Your laptop configuration doesnt help you. Since you found a better performance with a less resolution skin, this shows that it has to do with video graphics.
