Thanks

Where did you find that information?

There is only 1 upgrade and that is to PRO - which is version 6.

You should use the section at the bottom of the buy page for your discount - http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Yes, that was the page: (http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html)

So is VDJ6 the newest one out.

I have V5 of VDJ. I understand it that. I can spend £100 and upgrade my version 5 to Pro. or for £200, i can upgrade to VDJ 6 and also get Pro with it?

When a new version would be released, for example VDJ 7, would that be included in a free update?

Its not fully explained in the webpage.

Thanks
Dan

To date, Dannyboy, all updates have been free to Pro license users.

Ah, So, technically it would be cheaper for me to buy Pro for £98, then update my VDJ (Which currently is V5.2.2) then go to updates in my current VDJ then i should be able to upgrade to VDJ6? Saving my self aprox £100?

I still do not understand what your seeing as two different version. There is either an upgrade, for users with an LE version (like the version RMX users receive). Or a regular price for those with no previous versions of Virtual DJ. Since you have an LE license the only price you would need to be concerned about is the upgrade price.

When you update your version 5 (LE) to Pro - you will get Version 6 -- you will not get v5 PRO - it doesn't exist.

So, just upgrade and you go straight to v6 PRO

I think we've completly mis understood each other.

The current version i'm running is 5.2.2. Which, when i registered my Dj Console Rmx i was able to download for free.

I have been to the 'buy' page and seen i can upgrade to Pro for £98. In VDJ i have been able to use the Pro version for a limited 20 days as i'm allowed to try it out.

After the 20 days is up, i'm guessing i'll return to the limited version?

So what i'm asking is: If i purchase a pro licence, i'll still be able to use V5.2.2 with Pro features??? What i also want to know is: If i purchase a pro licence, will i automatically get updated to V6.0.0? or is this the additional cost of £150?

Thanks

This is correct. Once the trial is over you will revert to your 5.2.2 LE version. V6 is a little different from what your using now but, you can use both versions on the same PC, just not at the same time. V6 Pro will be a fresh install file, however.

You will pay the upgrade price only. When you purchase a Pro license you will automatically have v.6.0.2 with no further purchases. You would be upgrading from 5.2.2 LE to VDJ Pro 6.0.2. Not purchasing VDJ Pro, then purchasing the upgrade. You already have Virtual DJ limited 5.2.2 LE and the upgrade will be to v6.0.2.

I tried to be as descriptive as I could so if I seem repetitive it's because I want you to understand.

Looking forward to seeing you as a Pro user soon. You will love it. Free upgrades, Free plugins, samples, skins and much more.

Wicked dude, the exact answear i was looking for!!!

I'll be upgrading in a few weeks when i have some more dosh, the Rmx cost enough as it was, let alone crashing my car and having to buy a new one. So rather skint atm lol.

Hope to be Pro soon.

Thanks again guys!
