Topic: Quicker way to move folders around?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I want to move my folders in VDJ up and down. The only way I know is to Right click then hit move down. Is there a quicker way?

nope, only took me ten seconds, whatya want 5? sheesh! :)

Not Really. Sometimes I have a folder that I need to get down 20 steps. That takes a longer time then being able to just right click, hold and move.

NOPE . . . and extremly frustrating. Wait till you really build out your lists/folders to 30-40 or 50 or more. Then, add a new favorite, virtual or whatever folder and BAAM, it's all the way at the bottom. Even worse, when you finish the click/select, the screen refreshes back to the top, so you have to scroll back down to get back to the folder. Complimented with the fact you cannot Sub-Nest these, makes managing the entire left side cumbersome. This another area needing improvement.

Why right click? On the right track, but take it one step better. Just drag and drop (left click is implied) User interface design is about being as simple and intuitive as possible. Right clicking isn't intuitive, and then what do you do with Mac users?
