Topic: How can I play .mid files in VDJ ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have to play midi files from harddisk.
What codec do I need ? Where can I find it ?
My setup does not play .mid files.

Firstly, not a plugin question so I'll move to a more appropriate forum.

Secondly, I'm not aware VDJ can play MIDI files; you'll have to convert it to a supported audio file instead.
 
I couldn't get to work either so, I converted.
