Topic: Kanye West apologies after his stunt at the VMA's - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

For those of you who didn't see it Kanye West grabbed the mic out of Taylor Swifts hand while she was giving her speech after receiving the award for best music video.

Youtube the actual video of him taking the mic from her. Its hard to post as it keeps getting removed and obviously TONS of people are posting just about anything with the title Kanye West Taylor Swift VMA.

However here is the apology and live performance of Run this Town Ft Kanye Rihanna and Jay-Z

I dunno.. I searched before I posted cause I thought for sure someone would have posted something. Nothing was found when I searched so I posted.

It was about the original "deed" Mr. West did on the MTV awards. It had several ridiculous responses and I'm guessing it was moderated out of existence.

Kanye West as a ****** .. no excuse can be given.

thread got moved to Music Discussion

Pink is a smart and talented lady. I saw her face at the awards and she looked like she wanted to RIP his head off.

His actions were despicable, he stole her moment. He's crap anyway even in his performance after the interview.

That's the problem with all these hood types suddenly coming into money and then becoming Caleb’s, at the end of the day there trash! I thank god that I'm a European and were not dominated by hip hop and scum.

As a huge Kanye west fan I will take comments with a grain of salt. But... Lets not forget the reinvention of hip hop here. I mean.. if Jayz decides to do a track with ya you probably have something good going on.

Just grab an album of Kanye's and listen to it from beginning to end. He is very talented.

As for what he did... It will be forgotten. And forgiven. And was wrong...

All the haters riding the Kanye West hate train will soon be back out of the spotlight and he will not.

That's probably true, even Charlie Manson still has a fan club. :-0

hi Charlie Wilson what's your problem!? this is what you said (That's the problem with all these (hood types) suddenly coming into money and then becoming Caleb’s you got prolem with Americans? your comment is unacceptable!.what he did was wrong that's it!

Nothing wrong with what I said Phil, I stand by it.

Charles,
That was a very annoying comment, the last time I checked "Europeans" were not immune from Hip Hop, Scum, or the Swine Flu. Nobody "dominates" me unless of course I make a request. (Remember here in the U.S. we ALL CARRY a GUN.)

Boom Boom Pow :-)

Annoying as it may be, America is dominated by hip hop as far as music goes. It's your main music and I can't see it changing

Europe has hip hop but it's not as big and it's just another genera of music to us, I am glad that hip hop is not the main music in Europe. I really am

The dance music culture is a lot bigger over here.

We have a very diverse music culture here, HH is by no means dominate.
Pop is huge as is country.
I do many kids parties and school dances and you should see the requests for the classics, sometimes I think its a mistake when they write it down.

How many HH artists are there from Europe, I must have missed something...

Well last year when we pulled an all nighter in Paris, the dj Air One did a HH set and you should have seen the crowd go nuts over it.

There is more to music than techno folks...

Charlie, Renee, Phi, Rickl...

Chalk it up to different cultures, different backgrounds, different countries, and different points of view.

By the way....kanye west is not, was not and never will be thuggish, hood, or gangsta. Sorry dude...Kanye is a soft, metro-sexual cream puff. Always was, always will be. He just ain't hard like that. Believe me...Kanye is NOT a gangsta. The man is an A$$H()LE (Tried to clean it up a little) but he is talented.

I am a Hip hop DJ and I can't delete his music. If I did about half my current Hip Hop would be gone. He has produced so much music, written so much music, and collaborated with so many artists that it's almost impossible to not support his work in one form or another. Weather it's Jay-Z, Rhianna, John Legend, Lil Wayne, T-Pain or a long host of others, His impact on music is and will be present weather we like the dude or not.

I'm not saying anyone should keep his music or dump his music, i'm just pointing out what should be obvious but is hard to see when we are upset, angry or in our feelings.

I have ZERO respect for the man, but I know talent when I hear it. Often, having talent and being a complete RICHARD (DICK for short) go hand in hand.

I have respect for the different points of view on this topic, I just have my own point of view and my own sensibilities on the subject.

This topic seems to of gone wrong, people seem very touchie. It's turned into a "Charlie Wilson hate's America thread" when all I said was, this is what you get with a lot hip hop hoodie type's and that I'm glad were I come from the main music isn't hip hop.

I know your taking about Kayne...and i'm going to let you guys finish but...

Chris Brown was the jackass of the year!! Chris brown was the jackass of the year!
