Heya,
I am having some issues connecting my iCDX with Virtual DJ.
I plug the cables in, turn deck on and open up VDJ. I can play music on VDJ but my iCDX just displays PC No Link.
I am fairly new to this so could be something basic.
Also, what is a timecode?

Power up your iCDX and connect USB to the right port
Config>>Remote>>click iCDX icon
iCDX>>SCR>>PC(HID)
Timecode...sorry can't explain!

thanks for the reply.
Are you talking about Numark cue or VirtualDJ? (I get an ASIO error when opening Cue, but not CDJ)
I cant find Remote in the config in VDJ.
Only see Sound Setup, Skin, Mappers etc.

I can get the song track to show up in the iCDX but nothing will play through my mixer.

Hey There , I'm using the iCdx / Cue (Virual DJ) combo ,
firstly make sure you have a decent USB Cable
should work fine in this order.
1 Turn on your PC
2 turn on the iCDX
3 attach the USB cable from the deck to the PC , windows will tell you its found a USB HID device (after the first time you just get the beep beep to say you've attached something to the usb port ... if windows can't see your iCDX thats your problem right there !
4 start up virtual DJ .... when its loaded
5 select USB HID on the iCdx source button ,
to check its all go in VDJ 5 theres a tab in the config menu , umm i think its called remote or remote control then you just click on the pic of an Icdx and tick 'enable' easy
in Ver 6 its in Config/mappers and theres a drop down box at the top of the screen Icdx should be under keyboard if all has gone well
try that and see how you go

Heya.
Okay. I got the iCDX to work with the computer. I can use VDJ to choose my songs and i can use the iCDX to pause and play them.
How do i set it up so i can use my mixer as well? The sound is just coming through my PC speakers, can u use the speakers through my mixer?
In settings - what sound my input, output and Soundcard be?

I just bought the icdx from numeral, I was wondering if I can connect my Android phone to it via the usb spot and play music from my phone? During parties and such it would be easier to just search the song via phone and play through it. Any help I would appreciate
