Topic: Total Control Issues with version 6.0.2 and sampler play

When I play the samples on the total control the button only starts the sample but it doesn't stop it. Also, when i play the sample while their is a song playing the sample starts to play really slow or really fast, it sounds like i turned the pitch all the way up or down. Any ideas?

I had the same problem and fixed my manually editing the total control map.
Go to config.. select Mapper - Numark Total Control.. -- Select SAMPLE -- type in the action box sampler play_stop
that did the trick for me. I thought you selected sampler play_stop from the see also box.. but you have to manually type it in in the action box.
 
 
Interesting. the Total Control map in the production Mac Version of VJD doesn't have the stop function program in the sample button. Am I to under stand there is a downloaded map for total control that didn't get bundled in the distributed download of the new production version of VDJ 6 for Mac? Oh, now I understand a user fixed it like I did but then posted the fix for download. Great Idea wish I had thought of it. BTW, I reported the problem with the sample button to VDJ early in the beta testing but it looks like it got over looked.

Just wish we could get the video function totally stable and stop the momentary video freezes. 90 percent of what I do is video gigs. Thinking about dragging out my old windows laptop til the problem is fixed.
 
Thanks for the help, it fixed the start stop issue but now the issue i am having is that the sample/ effect is playing on both decks rather then the assigned deck. Any ideas?
