DJ A Sharp - The One Man Band
I run VDJ 6.0.2 an HP laptop with 1.8ghz processor, 2.5 GB RAM, and an integrated nVidia card. I usually run a Total Control for certain buttons and effects, along with 2 TCCD through the Native Instruments Audio4DJ. I usually don't have issues withe my setup. Well today I decided to use a more barebones setup to teach my high school music class about tempo. I used the TC, no timecodes, and no external soundcard. Occassionally, when I would push a button or move a slider, whatever was playing at the time would skip a beat, or a beat and a half, or two. I was showing them how easy it was to make a mashup remix, but I kept running into this at different times.

If you were using your internal soundcard and did not change your performance settings then the settings may be to high.
I would bet that this was the case ..
