The 1000 is a controller for serato to access your library & Cues. You press the buttons to access your 1 thru 5 cue points, Scroll crates & songs. The HC5000 is an example of the Hc4500 with the 1000 controller built in. The only thing is .. its designed for serato itch.. Over all, The Hc4500 has a better layout.

The HC1000S can be used and mapped with any software.

DEAR MR DENON DJ - hows the fixes on the s3700 going -- can you let me know if the midi and platter issues have been resolved.. would love to be able to dj with vdj and have a backup cd in there in case of a vdj problem

Its Not Denon.. There is nothing wrong with the 3700's. There is something wrong when you use it with Virtual DJ. You have to wait for the Next update which is soon.
