This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey!

I was wondering if you can rotate the CBG lines.

What I mean by this is: instead of the CBG lines looking like this:

l l l l l (Horizontal)
l l l l l

Can you edit the code so the CBG lines look like this?

-- --
-- --
-- -- (Vertical)
-- --
-- --

Thanks!

PS: I know I am unregistered but please help a brother out? I plan to buy the full version as soon as I get the money.

Thanks again!

Hi,

The CBG in the Rhythm view cannot be changed to vertical.

But if you are talking of a "beatkeeper" as seen in the top middle of VirtualDJ v6 skins, then yes you can make that vertical.
Each beat rectangle is defined with the deck number, "goto_bar" and a number:

deck 1 goto_bar 1
deck 1 goto_bar 2
deck 1 goto_bar 3
deck 1 goto_bar 4

So you can place these rectangles anywhere you want.

Well i can not understand how you could use horizontal cbg but i think that you may change those lines from the rhythm element..
Quote :
<grid1 width="4" mainwidth="11">
<size width="1096" height="4"/>
...
..
</grid>

Now if you change for example height="1" and wdth="30" and mainwidth="50" maybe this would look like horizontal to you. But i still cant get the point of this.

From what I understand, the user wants to have the CBGs vertical like in the bottom part of this picture:

This makes sense.

The reason I would want my CBGs to be vertical, because I've borrowed serato from one of my best friends. I recently gave it back.

Anyway, I want my skin to have an impression of serato. It would be nice if the CBG lines could go vertical, so it could look even better, when I position the CBG lines with the scratchwaves..
