Hi there..
As I have spent hours organising my libraries, setting cue points etc..... is there anyway I can export my tracks from the cue point as most of my tracks are extended play and I only want an 8 bar intro really.... I have just bought some pioneers and wanted to combine the two. Is this possible or is there a way I can do it?
Thanks Heidi x

Hi, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, you only want the 8 bar intro? When you say you just bought some Pioneers and want to combine the two, what do you mean? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.

Hi there...
Sorry, I mean that all my tracks are usually 7 mins long and I have set my cue points about 8 bars before the main choon kicks in, as this is enough for me to mix from the outro of the previous track... as I now also have some pioneers, I would like to export tracks from my hard drive onto CD to mix live on my pioneers. ( I know I can burn them as they are ) but was hoping there was someway to burn them from where my cue point was set, without having to fiddle with a wave editor as it will take looooong time :-D
Cheers

You can record your track within VDJ from your set cue points.. Then burn them from there on any software you like..

...or you can use your CDJ-400's (based on your profile) to MIDI-control VDJ just like you would play CD's. Saves you the trouble of burning audio CD's and your cue-points are already there :)

Hey... Yeah I know I can record them in real time, but thats quality loss and very time consuming.... I was just hoping there was a quicker way!!! I have been using my CDJ400s with the USB, but the last time I did a gig it froze. - and had to jump to CDs..... Plus one of the clubs I DJ in has the Pioneer 1000 Mk3's so wanted transferable old fashioned audio CDs - with each track from my own cue points..... There mustn't be a way :-(

It may not be possible.
VDJ cue memory might not be the same with the pioneer.
If I'm right, you wanted to incorporate the cue points being save from your cd player, in this case the pioneer and use the vdj software to read or utilize those cue point or vise versa, possibility...no way I think.

Does anyone konw of a way that the software will push a .xml file out to a folder to send the dcs to my broadcaster

Wow - a five year old thread!! in future open a new one if the only one you can find is this old.

What are dcs?? Maybe a US thing or maybe i'm having a silly 5 minutes but I don't know what that is. lol

Let me know and there may be a way :-S
