im looking to get a new computer but i dont no wat to get i dont have alot of money either but i want a good reliable and fast computer that does the job like for vdj......wat computer would you guys recomend.....and NO i dont have enought money for a MAC...although i can get it on credit...lol.

i would recomend get a unit with 2 or 3 gigs ram 32 bit vista or get xp if you still can
store music on a fast 7200 rpm external drive
i like HP excellent service when you need it
i say stay away from nvidia graphics cards and get a card with 256 mb onboard or more
if you go to a major website for these products like best buy for instance you can search by price , so if your budget was $800 then search at that price ......
for soundcards get a real music card not a game card , and get at least 3 channels or more
don't go rushing off to the gig right away unless you like embarassing surprises ......take a few practice laps first , you will probably need to do some common tweaks to get it in game day shape .......
