99.9% of the mixers that have USB soundcard are 1-way capabilities and can not be used in a TC setup. You still need a 4IN/4OUT soundcard.
The TM57 is one of the .1% mixers with this capability - but pretty much locked to the SSL software.
There are a couple of mixers I have heard about that will fall into the .1% 4IN/4OUT capability once they hit the street ... but I have no clue on when that will be...

Only for recording ... it's not a true 4IN/4OUT mixer ..
"Two USB jacks, each assignable to input or output" << INPUT OR OUTPUT
This is from the C3USB ... but very typical of most of these USB based mixers ... they either provide these exact features or just OUTPUT to the mixer channels ...
USB SELECT – These switches determine the functionality of the USB ports.
USB A:
RECORD – Outputs the Record mix to your computer for recording purposes.
CH3 – Sends incoming audio from your computer to mixer’s Channel 3 (you will need to set the channel’s input selector switch to USB A).
USB B:
MASTER – Outputs the Master (Program) mix to your computer for recording purposes.
CH4 – Sends incoming audio from your computer to mixer’s Channel 4 (you will need to set the channel’s input selector switch to USB B).

These mixers are designed for general use not timecode.
They provide a convenient plug and play external mixer setup.
