Topic: Denon HC4500 and NATIVE INSTRUMENTS MASCHINE

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I will be getting the full version of VDJ soon. I already have a Denon HC4500 and a DENON X900 mixer(should be here anyday). I am looking for a solution to have quicker access to more FX on the fly besides the top 5 that will play threw the HC4500. The Native Instruments Maschine has caught my eye. My question is
1)ill it be possible to run both controlers with VDJ just using the Maschine for FX?
2)And if it is possible how difficult will it be for a person that is not great with computer programing/ mapping. I always just go with premapped stuff so I don't screw stuff up.
3) Is there a better option then Maschine, in your opnion, to accomplish this and maybe also work as a beat machine.

Thanks!!

Hi DiskJockeyWatty,

i would like to say you can use controllers as much you want to use or you systems can handle.
The only thing is, the should not use the same midi codes.

If not, please somebody correct me ;-)

You can also use some keyboard shortcuts for FX or for example a Korg nano pad.
