Topic: I'm in AC.....Trick

Checked in at the Chelsea Hotel. It is a bit far from the Taj, but hey, I do have a car. Got a great rate ($75.00/nite) from Priceline name your own price. I did not even see this hotel until they accepted my price. Then I read the reviews. It seems they have an annex, those old motels connected to the tower, that they use for the cheap price. The reviews were horrible. However, when I called to confirm, I mentioned that I would need high speed access so I could broadcast live every night, as I was covering the DJ Expo. Got Here early, dressed to impress, and again mentioned to the check in staff that I would be broadcasting live from the hotel and the convention floor. I also mentioned that I could get passes to all the parties for the staff. Pow, 11th floor. Even if I don't get passes, what are they gonna do? Now, if I could just find "Hookers" in the phone book, I would be OK. They must have really cleaned this city up. Holla at a brother, if you get here.

They have a Travel Intimacy Kit in the room for $24.00. "This luxury ensemble includes: before & after mints, mini silicone personal lubricants, and lubricated deluxe condoms (3)". This would be great, except I'm looking for a $5.00 crack ho. Ok, I can go $10.00, but that's my final offer.
 
I wonder who all is manning the Atomix/VDJ booth.

I plan on stopping by Wednesday, crashguard in hand. I wonder if I should haul the gig lappy for a little on-site check. LOL . :-)

Seriously, I can't wait to meet some of the guys. This is my first DJ Times conference. I went to WMC a few years ago but did not attend the exhibits (did they even have any?).

Actually I'll be down tomorrow to start shopping. Rude sold me on a pair of Vertigos....LEDs of course. I'm gonna hang them in my shower.

left at 10 this morning and for an hour or so GOT STUCK IN TRAFFIC RIGHT BEFORE THE AC EXPRESSWAY LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION AND IT ENDS IN ONE LANE,ALL LANES ARE CLOSED AT AT THE MERGE POINT BESIDES THE LEFT LANE, SIGN SAID CONSTRUCTION FROM AUG 10TH THRU 13TH ANYONE COMING IN THAT WAY MAKE TIME TO BE DELAYED ABOUT AN HOUR,here now gonna be checking the last seminar and gonna get some gaming in
 
If that don't frustrate you to tears, the left lane sleepers on the GS will fo sho.

When I checked in about a half hour ago "Barbie Girl" video was on! My first thought was "oh lawd!" lol

Time to go wandering around figuring out where registration, meeting rooms, and exhibit hall are.
