Topic: EXPO 2009: Who's going?

Just wondering who might be going to the expo next week? I thought it would be nice to meet some of the users that have helped me out over the past year. Keith

I'll be arriving Monday evening. I'm in the process of setting up meetings now with fellow DJs and Labels/Promoters. I'll certainly pay a visit to the booth. I'm probably not going to make the Monday night party at HOB.
 
Ill be there on tuesday. The hootest party will be on that actual day too. Its DJ Caliente NYC & DJ World Wide Representing Queens & Brooklyn NY..
 
Unfortunately, won't be there. But does anyone know if presentation notes and/or dvd's of presentations are usually made available after the event?

Apart from not meeting fellow DJ's/VJ's from this site, I'm also going to miss some interesting presentations and shows! Too bad folks like me (from way, way, across the pond) won't benefit from the show :-(.

For those of you going, enjoy the show! I'm sure it's going to be a cracker!! (Not a bit jealous, honestly :-|)

Hope it is better than the mobile beat show in Vegas a few month's back. That was the WORSTE show I have ever attended (and I go to sign conventions for my daytime business and model railroads shows for my hobby!)

If anybody has any new controllers on display let us know.

Here is an idea that might be fun and effective at the Show to link Forum Members together. How about a signal word.

Kinda like those clickers military folks would click...click...click to recogonize friendly forces during the war.

I nominate the word "hockadeer". Our friendly band of DJs here in Harrisburg use the word "hockadeer" which we throw back and forth with each other. Like "Ok see ya later............. hockadeer"

It's a made up...silly word, but I nominate it as the signal word at the Expo.

For example:

Go up to the VDJ table and say: Hey ... how ya doin'....................... hock ahhhhh deeeeeeerrrrrrrr....

If anyone working at the VDJ table are involved with this forum then they would know you are a member here.

Just a stu pidd suggestion. But who knows ... ehhhh ???

I will be there with a new video set... on the NS7!!! with a "still work in progress" mapper & beta. This will be the 1st time anyone will see VDJ working with the Numark NS7 (Platters too!!!). Come by & say "HI"!
