Topic: I am having a rather strange issue

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

This is the most bizarre problem ever.

I have a problem with turntable 2 on my vdj, it wont hold time. by this is mean it seems to get quicker, even when i drop the pitch down on the turntable (timecode) the song playing on player 2 wont stay in time, first thought it was turntable, so I bought 2 new ones, same problem. then thought it was soundcard, so I got another, same problem.

Its getting a little strange now, just to keep the song playing at a decent speed I have to start it of at about -4% on the actual turntable, then adjust it all the way through the song till I have no adjustment left, and the song still speeds up.

this has only happened since upgrading to v6.01, which is annoying cos I personally think it is the best yet, apart from that problem

Anyone got any ideas?

What is the % in pitch rang you have it at? I believe it default at 33%?? I ususally set mine to 10 - 12%
It you did say you were getting 100% time code right? anything less the 75% it tends to drift bad....

There is a problem with drifting that some of us are experiencing with 6.01 (I've given up on it) but maybe you are experiencing it too, but a more extreme case of it, lol

Try setting your pitch range to 8%, and in the timecode config check the "Disable Pitch" option and see if it still happens.
