EDIT : I fixed the problem with not being able to use the REAR out. it now plays trough Rear, wich was fixed with an update and some settings Editing.
But now i have a new problem.
I sellect the 4.1 option then i sellect the last choice.
It now acts like a headphone in rear this is good but the sound is very quiet.,also Headphone Out plays to the stereo but with the sellected headphone music in it....
So i try the 2nd option,Rear gives me good headphone sound now good,so i listen to headphone out ,and its the same like the 3th,music playing but with the selected headphone music in it...
I try the First one,now this is odd if rear switches with front it would normally switch sound settings. but it does not Main sound still plays in heaphone out and with music from the headphone button in it...
Rear now plays like it should
I am confused atm i do not understand how this creative sound card can ignore the out-puts and select its own...

K so i cant do this with 1 card ? :/ i cant use the laptop headphone eather cous its broken thats the reason i bought a external card but
Back when my normal PC still worked i bought a internal 5.1 and it had over those 2 Plug Outs.
This external one however has a :
Located : On The Right Side
Standart Headphone
Standart Line In (i have no idea why its in there)
Standart Mic In
Then On the back it has this usseles plug outs :
Optical out (very small hole inside is a red lazer.)
Standart C/Sub
Standart Rear
Then a Red and White sound hole (like in a scart cable)
---------------------
I thought i was able to use a standart headphone, and a standart plug out that goes to the Plug in of my Stereos Micro
So that i can hear the sound play on the stereo system, and i can hear the song loaded and selected in the headphone menu, in my headphone.
I am afraid that i will have to use those 2 scart plug outs to get that effect ? if yes, then i have a probelm because i do not have these Plug ins on my stereo.

i was only using this setup in my room and on a desktop pc i had a xfi platinum fatalty all i used it for was to play my music and i used the optical out at the front of the comp to run straight to the amp and while i was using vdj i used another sound card to hear out of the headphones.
on the vdj program u can turn the mix button in the headphones sections to be able to hear both songs at the same time in ur head phones or just the next song without it going to the amp
i hope that was what ur question was. im not much of a pro in here but thats how i used to do it now i have a external mixer i plug my head phones in that
i dont own that desktop pc anymore

Hi,
trying to use SB X-Fi GO sound card with virtual DJ. I connected my headphone to the sound card. What happens is that the tempo of the sound coming out of the headphone is slower that the sound coming from the speakers. As a result I can't get a clean mix. Any suggestions?
