Topic: Mapper command to disable the Tap Button In V6?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is It possible to map a button on my computer keyboard to enable and disable the Tap Button on my Denon DN-S1200 CD player?

The rational Is. I don' t want another DJ that uses my system to delete the BPMs which I manually programmed In V6.

First, map a suitable keyboard shortcut (E.g: CTRL+ALT+T) to the following:

toggle $tap

Then change the mapping for the TAP button to:

var $tap ? tap : sync

Now you can toggle the button between a tap and sync button.

Will that work for the V6 Mac version too?

I tried It In the Mac version, but It does not work.

Only tried in the PC version and it works. If it doesn't work in the Mac version, it may be a bug in the v6 beta.

An alternative to the above is simply to edit the mapping by hand - Change it to sync when you finish, and put it back to tap when you are working and want to be able to manually tap BPM.

I appreciate the help. I will do it manually until It is fixed!
