I don't have any more information that that I'm afraid although I do remember being told not to set it *unless* you had the issue.

Is this referring to MaxLoad?
With my setup, What would be the right setting?
I have It set to (Always)

maxload should be 'always'
but the above suggests to get DJCell's Registry tool to anable the speedload option (found in the registry)
I notice that changing the TrackListCutHour has no effect.

You would usually download DJCel's registry tool from the download section, then enable the relevant option. Downloads are only available to registered users however.

Where do you download this tool to? I mean where do you put it? This only happens on my music drive, not my 1TB video drives. I remember changing something on the drive one time, but can't remember what.

It's just an application; you can download it and save anywhere you like - the change is global to VDJ, not on a per-drive basis. Once set it should remain set :)

What I'm saying is, everything was fine, and I tried some tweak from some magazine on that drive, and it made the loads slower than the drives with video. I changed it back, but the mp3's still load slower. My video drives load very fast, so I'm thinking it is drive specific. But what do I know, I can barely turn my machine on. To be honest, it is not that big of a deal to me, that is why I have not said anything. I try not to get all crazy about every little thing. I will download this right away and try. It will have to wait until Sunday because I play tonight and Sat, and I don't do anything to my machine when I have a gig.

I wish more people had that much sense, but then I'd expect it from you ;)
