how do i hear the track that is not in play yet? im playing on just my laptop on virtual dj 5.

Hello derek,
You need a 5.1 or better sound card. On board sound cards on laptops usually don't have this on it.
Other thing, use VirtualDJ Trial to check VirtualDJ Pro 6. Good for 20 days and will let you view more information and tips on the forum that are only for registered pro users (the ones who bought VirtualDJ Pro are pro users in the forum).
