whenever i turn the pitch to about 60 above 0 and hit the key lock, the song starts to skip alot. I would love some help

My best advice would be to restrict your pitch range to something a bit more moderate, like +/- 12 or 20%. The problem will be less.
Also, adjust your master tempo in performance settings to fast. Granted, it won't sound as good, but it will probably work better in terms of performance.
