i was on a dj chat forum, and theres tons of dj there who uses VDJ..im not quite sure if some of there are here, anyway one Dj is asking if its possible to use a SERATO HARDWARE and VDJ software...i dont know what serato hardware does he have, but he really love the VDJ...hmm thnx

You can use the SSL vinyls and the SL1 box. Not sure about the new box. The only restricted interface I am positive of is the Rane mixer.
 
I have tried it numerous time. Start nice but always end up with crazy distortion
 
i used to use my sl1 box with vdj cdtc and ssl vinyl tc and had no problems. recently got a korg zero4 and must say it has even better response than the sl1. IMO.
 
(The SSL1 box will only work on the PC version of VirtualDJ)
