Topic: Native Intruments Audio 4 DJ

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello guys.
I am buying the NI Audio 4 DJ.
I would like to know any opinion about this product from who got this sound card.
What about sound quality and latency time?

Thank you for answering me

I have an Audio 8. The technology is the same as the audio 4.
I think this is the best sound card.
The sound quality is exceptional and the latency is perfect with the ASIO drivers available on Native Instruments website.

Very good quality sound card !

I got the earlier Audio Kontrol 1 which is similar to the Audio 4 DJ.

Over ten years I have had almost as many different soundcards and this AK1 stands head and shoulders above the rest on sound quality. I noticed that some of my older mp3s that were recorded at 128k (when hard drive space was tight 10 years ago) sound great now. I'm now hearing instruments in older tunes that I never noticed before! Wouldn't use anything else now.

Thank you very much. I was and now I am more sure this sound card it's a good product.

Careful with the dropouts and ground loops.
This soundcard is very much sensitive to those.
It will draw a lot of power to your USB port, e.g 476mA! Don't know why they don't include it with external power supply.
I find it hard to get the right latency settings though.
Other than that, superb audio quality, loud/crisp and clear.
BTW I'm using Audio8

I just bought this sound card.
I hope it will not let down my expectations.

It's a good card,you'll never regret it,first I bought a maya44,then u46mk2 but I am really impressive with audio4dj.VDJ for life

I got the sound card. I am testing but it sounds good till now.
I only have to check the right setting

How does it perform on the mac?
