Topic: Use of USB Headset with MacBook

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am running Virtual DJ on a standard MacBook running Tiger. If I was to get a USB headset, could I do the following: use headphones from headset for cueing or to hear master output, send master output to my system through the headphone jack, and use the microphone in the headset to do live speech audio that would also go out through my master output? Thanks.

Thats a great idea.. and prob more economical than a usb soundcard, any updates on this?
