Ive had Virtual dj for about 3 months now and have not yet been able to use it with the timecodes.. When I plug it in and mix with the mixer and mouse it works perfect. When I set it up to use it with timecode cds it works like its suppose to but the songs make like a burp sound or skip. What can I do to fix this???

turn off wifi and bluetooth in your device mgr
whatever the system priority is set at (either programs or background processes) switch it to the other setting
turn off windows firewall
set your power profile to always on then all the boxes under that to "never"

you need a real soundcard
those tweaks i suggested are good , but there are many others that might be needed
defrag , then defrag again
eliminate processes and try to get the number down to 40 or less
update yer active x
