Is there a version of vdj on the market thats compatible with windows 7 & if not how soon would it be available and how well would it work.

The current version (6.01) seems to work fine in intself, but you obviously need a soundcard to use it.
Since Windows 7 hasn't been released by Microsoft, and that currently no soundcard manufacturer "officially" offer support for it yet, you have to try it to know how it works with your hardware (if it can be installed) or otherwise, you'll have to wait for drivers to be released.
