I have had my You Tube account for 2 years now and never really did much with it, but in the last week or so I've been putting out videos to help DJs KJs and VJs. They are pretty raw so careful with the judgments. I'm not trying to put on studio quality presentations, just real life stuff that may help someone.

This is the karaoke vid.

And this is an old friend of mine's DJ page...DJAdvise (DJ Mauro). I recently talked him into upgrading his VDJ LE account to the full 6.0.1(he's an RMX user). Needless to say he is a happy convert!! He even did a video on using the "Net Search" feature. Check out his channel...

There is an easier way to have your Karaoke screen active......go to config (VDJ) goto video tab in config....under video output...were it says tv output use the dropdown to choose your xtended video source, should not be (window) choose the other YOU'RE ALL DONE ...no draggin, you don't even need to see the screen.....presto your karaoke monitor should be good to go!

Thanks DJMAZ, I do have mine set up that way, but for the purpose of the video I wanted to show noobs how to drag it from the main screen over to the extended desktop and then expand it, I even mentioned it in the video. What I did was leave the LCD off when I cued up the video, that way the little window is forced to pop up in the main screen.

Hey VDJ members, I was hoping you guys and gals could give me feedback on my videos if you have time to watch them. I see that many of you have checked them out but I'm getting little or no feedback and comments. I make no claims at being a pro and that isn't what this is about. I'm trying to use a real life approach to my presentations, like as if you were sitting there and I was talking to you directly. I plan on doing many more myself and with DJ Mauro (DJ Advise) on his channel too (see above for the DJAdvise channel URL). OK, I have a series of tutorial vidz on how to convert karaoke CDG discs to files that will play in VDJ. These tutorials show what software you can use to rip CDG discs to CD+G files and then convert them (if you want) to playable zip file. I perfer zips because of the manageability of only having to deal with a single file whereas with CD+G you have to contend with the two separate audio & video files.

I changed the song up this time too, from "The Cube Guys" in the first three vids to "Daft Punk" on this one.

C'mon people does anyone give a damn! I try to help everyone here when I can, I just need a few more comments or the deal I have is off, they want to see some more action and so far I'm not really getting it. Don't worry dogg, I got your back. Great videos! I like the karaoke ones, Cakewalk pyro cd ripping and the harddrive vid. Where can I get the Cakewalk Pyro rip software, your vid doesnt say. Also----

I just got an RMX and i want to upgrade to the full version but I'm a bit apprehensive right now cuz of what I been reading about 6.0. I got the le version of 5.2. Can I do karaoke with the RMX? I see you have some bomb ass equip. I can't afford but I'd like to kno if the RMX can do it. The way you showed us on the vid seems easy enough if the equip is good right?

I think my comp is good but not sure about the RMX for music vid & karaoke.

Ive been reading your posts and i think you are one of the more helpful ones here, there are a few too tho dont get me wrong, but you seem to be pretty savvy and willing to help. Please let me know about the rmx.
