This is not a put down on Michael, I was a fan.

I know his popularity in recent has remained much higher outside the US especially in Europe. Anytime and every time I played a MJ song for the past several years I always got a few boos and jeers from the audience which made me uncomfortable to say the least.

I hope in his death people will put all the "other stuff" aside and appreciate him for his music.

No boos or jeers for his music here in New Orleans, I get requests for his songs all the time (even by the twenty something crowd). His song still fill the dance floor.

He will be missed.

Same was for me in Mexico at anytime... maybe sometimes controversial in his life, but not banned on the dance floor.

Wow, I did a 20 minute video tribute to MJ last night and the peeps loved it. It seemed as though everyone checked the excess baggage and simply enjoyed the music for the music and not his other life issues.

I was glad to see that.
