I tried to download the file for the time coded cds and it opened up my windows media player. I tried copying it though the player, but it displayed "cannot copy". Do I need to uninstall the wm player to download the file?

you just clicked to link aren't you?

Just right click to link and select "save target as". then select the folder an click "save".

Anyway WMP should play it if you open with it. But you will hear only the strange noise.
