Hi all - new to these forums, so bear with me!

I'm considering buying Virtual DJ, but am unsure whether to get Home Edition or Pro...

I am a beginner to DJing in general, and would not be using any hardware, but would like to plug my little Korg Synth into the computer to add sound effects and some synth playing to a mix - I believe that I would only be possible with Pro, is that correct?

Also, would I be able to record a mix with the additional sounds added by my synth recorded as well using Virtual DJ?

Thanks

Hi Mate
One of the functions on pro that will become a pain very quikly is the inability to use the software with an external mixer. You will want to do this sooner or later even if it is just to add in your synth. If you can afford it go pro.

Many times we buy something for a specific purpose... and when we get it we realize that there are so many other things you wish it could do.
Do not limit yourself..... give yourself more than the option you are thinking of

Pro version all the way... it will be worth the extra cash

Thanks for your response.

If I get Pro, will I be able to play along with mixes using my synth, and will these sounds be recorded as part of the mix for me to then be able to burn to a CD, or will I need to use seperate recording software?
