Topic: not able to que in head phones?!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Im using vdj 5 on a PC Compal FL92, 2G RAM, windows XP
Im using LE saffire firewire sound card by Focusrite.

Ive tired every setting in virtualvinyl. I cant seem to que mixes in my head phones. Not able to hear a ix in the head phones alone, with out it playing in the main outs/mix.

Anyone have any advice? Anyone have the same problem before?

Hi There,

Have you properly configure the sound output option? (see the following link, page 35 ;) )

If so I would first go here http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and enter your serial number, and then go over to the download centre and download the latest version and see if your any more successful?

Alternatively check out the numark site for product updates, http://www.numark.com/virtualvinyl

If this doesn't help I would reply back with more specific details on what you're tried. 'I've tried everything' isn't particularly helpful! ;)

I will try all your recommendations and report back if one of those do not work.

I have tried every single configuration in the "config" "sound set up" tabs.

I've never used the Sapphire, so I cannot say for sure, but looking at the web site and FAQ, they mention that headphone output is assigned to OUTPUT 3/4 (which is not unusual with other soundcard I've seen and used). Knowing this, I would think that the configuration should be fairly straight foward:

In VDJ audio configuration:

- Input : None

- Output(s): Headphone

-Soundcard: ASIO > Focusrite Sapphire

Then you should select Main Output 1/2 and Headphone 3/4

Now, as for the Sapphire itself, it's possible that there might be some options in the their control panel for the headphone output, so you may want to look there as well
 


Hi there to everyone,i have realtek highdefinition sound driver with the virtual dj le version,now running pro for 20 days.

I can´t use my headphones.. already connected them at the back of my computers(black plug) and the soundspeakers in green plug.
In the setup menu i think is well configurated.(as showed in manual)

Can anybody help? thanks
