Topic: VDJ 6.01 won't open: error in Video Driver

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a desk top with an Nvidia Graphics Card. After loading 6.01...the splash screen pops up then this error message. I do not play video's; this error was occurring trying to open VDJ.

I reiinstalled and it appears to be working...using the High Res skin...resolution on the screen is 1280x 960..

I've read about the registry fix and unchecking acceleration... these look to address issue when playing video's

Thoughts?

This might seems obvious, and I'm going to ask anyway. Did you try re-booting your machine?

Have you installed Direct X 9 and updated your NVIDIA drivers from their site.
