Topic: 6.0.1 install error [SOLVED]

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When I go to install, I get the message to close down VDJ - even though there are no instances of it open ( I even checked Task Manager).
When I open VDJ after this the spalsh screen still shows 6.0-

Suggestions?

Reboot the computer ... then try installing
