Topic: Thank you Atomix Productions!

You know I have been on this forum for a long time and at times am still surprised by what happens here...I just wanted to take a few minutes out of my busy schedule to THANK the Atomix Productions Team for their generosity and hard work. I really appreciate Steph's big heart to once again offer this new version to all of us for FREE. Not many places any more that do that! At times we are appreciative and others we are not. But thanks. Also to all the Teamers that helped, Beta Testers, Moderators, new skin designer( and awesome job with the new website Rune) and all those that are behind the scenes busting their humps for us. I hope that this new version will help Atomix Productions get a larger role in the USA.

I second that!!!

The whole crew did an awesome job. I love the new default skin. It is sharp! I love the ability not to have to go into config to switch the skin modes (full video, mixer, etc).

I remember when I was looking at going cpu to mix and first looked at pcdj and almost went with it because a local dj friend had it but my friend in Phoenix who I knew longer than my local friend told me "this awesome dj software that is $150 and is about to have a price increase. The upgrades are free. I'm going ahead and getting it." Well I didn't at the time and missed out on the cheaper price but you know what...I would have paid more for this! The current price should NOT be an issue for Paid Professional DJs! It pays for itself in a gig or two..Unless you work for 100 a night or free beer!

I just noticed on the new VDJ 6 skin that you can click on the clock and get the time in AM/PM format..

its a small thing, but much appreciated!

I too would like to thank the team behind the scenes, Rune you still amaze me with your website design, and Cstoll, jpboggis Thanks for the quick help on the mapping (still working on it too) and everyone else, I may not know everyone personally but the few I have worked with are great.

I can honestly tell people when they ask what I use to DJ that I use Virtual DJ and the possibilities are endless with what you can do with it, and because of the new controller mapping it's now opened up even more doors.

I know I am not very vocal around hear guys because I'm always working but if you look I was one of the very first VDJ users around here. This program has come so far! You all have done a great job. Thank you very much.
 
Likewise. I dont say that much but I worrk for one of the top music companies and have my own music productioin and DJ company so its hard to chime in. I have used this software for years even when people were laughing at me using a laptop at a party! My how things have changed! I have used it on Def Comedy Jam, Major clubs in NYC and many other events. It does everything I want and more, period!

Pat yourselves on the back guys....job well done from beginning to end. I really hope certain things that were not totally addressed in 5.2 are here. In any event if its not it is usually addressed.

Keep ratio (crop) - new video option is major improvement. Thanks a lot for this. Now I don't have to recode a lot of videos and they will display correctly on any TV.
 
I agree with Madd, VDJ 6 is a big step forward :)

I want to congratulate Rune for his incredibly good job. Rune, you should take a breath sometimes :ppp
