HI... 1st i like to say thank to the VJ team for all the hard work & the gr8 features in VJ V6..

Just a question about the music group feature is there a sample Javascrip or Html code so we can put the top 20 from A Music Group on my website ????

That's a cool idea, I think a jpeg would be a nice way to do it - something like the xbox 360 gamer cards.

Here's an example:




This is just a basic demo, it would be nice to have user selectable backgrounds and a cleaner font and customizable colours etc.

Those examples are all realtime (updated every 30 minutes from when they're cached). If you want to use it on your myspace etc, here's how to use it:

1. Select the Music Group you want from here, e.g. DJ Koolz - Progressive House Playlist.
2. Look at the URL, in this example 'http://www.virtualdj.com/musicgroup/DJ_Koolz_-_Progressive_House_Playlist/index.html', you need to copy the part in bold.
3. Paste the copied part at the end of this URL: 'http://andrew.whirlpond.com/demo/vdj/musicgroups/display.php?group=', which would become 'http://andrew.whirlpond.com/demo/vdj/musicgroups/display.php?group=DJ_Koolz_-_Progressive_House_Playlist'

This is the link to the image for the music group, you can embed it in a webpage like normal:

or better yet (so you can click the picture to visit the groups page):

Notice how the part in bold is the same link from step 2 (this is important).
