Topic: Protection error 16 with Ver.6

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Installed ver.6 and recieved error 16, I have tried everything, please help.

If you are running NOD32 ... turn it OFF and reinstall and run VDJ for the first time and enter your serial ... then you can turn it back ON.
 
No Antivirus installed at all.
 
I'm not, and i've tried installing with all firewall/anti-virus disabled and it's no different.



I also get the database error and then the ASIO error before the protection error.
 
Download the Registry tool -- http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/2170/Registry_Tool.html
Just save it to your desktop.

Run the file .. click the Clean button to clear out the registry .. close the program.

Then reinstall, be connected to the internet when you open VirtualDJ for the first time.
 
Same error here. I get the database error too, but no asio (i think i didnt have it configured for it though). Any help (no Antivirus)
