Topic: DMC1 Controller w/ VDJ6

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

While I consider myself a geek at time and tinkerer, is there an enterprising sort who has (or could do) the DMC-1 for the newest VDJ?

I know this is an antique, but is rock solid and never let me down.

Am I right in thinking that the original DMC1 ONLY works with PCDJ though? I've heard you have to get them chipped to unlock to other software...

Correct.

Both mine have the GizmoLabs firmware update.
 
It's well worth the $99.
 
HI, does anyone know how to get this gizmolabs right now, since the website is offline? Does DMC1 with gizmolabs firmware work with serial to usb conversor and VDJ6 ? THX

I have 2 DMC-1 that have the chip. Any offers?
 
Hi, I can buy the chip or a copy of it if someone say me that chiped DMC-1 works with winXP+VDJ6+usb to serial consersion. THX

Can anyone confirm this works on DMC-1?

I do not want to install on my gig rig yet.

Now if I can keep v 5.2.1 on same system as 6 and there are NO issues, then I might.
