And to quickly answer your question ... Go check your Mac's Audio properties and make sure the internal soundcard is set as the Built-in Output.

problem really isnt solved, but i got it to work.. but i had to install vdj5 and then reinstall6...the problem might have been that my first time using it, it was hooked up to the controller.. i dont know

now i cant use my midi soundcard.. it keeps switching back to 'built in output'
this is pretty frustrating.. when i set the soundcard to a different output it just resets itself.. the apply button is worthless
