okey... I have a laptop (HP) 1.4 ghz 480mb ram 40 gb harddisc a Hercules Dj console and I use it as a soundcard too... is it enough..??

If you record in mp3, you need to download the "lame encoder" (you can find it on internet), put it in a folder, and than specify a path under settings > plugins > mp3 encoder. If you record in wave, it should work normally without needed codecs for compression.
