Hi, there is a option within virtual dj to show covers.
I have some cds ripped to my hard drive and i have the covers in jpeg format in the same folder.
Is there any way to make virtual dj show me the front and back covers so that i can see the tracklist from the back cover.
Thanks

I believe ( I may be wrong though, lol) the art work has to be part of the mp3 tagging.
What you can do, is use something like Tag&Rename (or any other tagging software). You then locate the art work from the folder and then save it to the "tag"
Thats the only way I can think of.

searching for this will tell you that you need the file naame of the .jpg to match that of the music file. eg.
beatles - yellow submarine.mp3
beatles - yellow submarine.mp3.jpg
so if you have an album with 20 tracks, you will need 2 .jpg files.
thi work for all files, inc video.
but the picture could also be added to the tag info when you rip your track. (MP3)

Hi folks,
I have to bring this up again. I have mp3 files with covers embedded but still it does only show colored boxes with file & track name.
I am currently running the 6.0 trial which I really like alot but the media search is crap and seems to be really unusable for bigger collections. it seems to automatically extract the covers from the files and generate tons of jpgs. :-( and it does that only very very slow...
Having the pix like that is no option for me, it actually would be a reason not to buy VDJ. Is there any alternative way? I don“t see an album browser type of thing as well. compared to this i-Tunes is a perfect example for a proper scanning / searching of collections. it returns with a result list grouped by album showing the cover on the left.
is anything like that planned for future releases?
cheers

personally speaking mart i don't bother with this function for me there's no need for it and it takes space away from the browser, but each to their own.
