i also have problems with recording.
I have 2 soundcards, and a mixer. One sound card is for speakers, and another is for headphones.
Third cable is connecting mixer with amplifier.
My problem is following; when i record my mix, on recorded (finished) mix i hear master sound (from speakers), but also the sound from my headphones. During mixing (and recording) that is not a case, everything is ok.
I hope You understund my problem, and that you have solution for my problem.

What your are saying is that when you playback what you recorded you can hear all the times you cued up with your headphones??

yes, you got it .
with same set up (sound cards) i tried to record in tractor, and everything was ok.
during my mixing in vdj, my pitch is in the middle, and i am separating traks by pitch on my mixete.
is it a problem and how can i solve it?

Check your device manager-see if you dont have a conflict between your cards?
