Topic: CDJ-400 with Hercules DJ console MK2

Hi,
I want to buy a couple of CDJ-400 and use VDJ with my MK2 console as a mixer.

1- Is it possible to use the CDj's with the MK2 console as the mixer?
2- I've heard that the Numark ICDX might be a better solution (cheaper and more precise), what are your thoughts?

You can, if you are adding software to that.

CDJ 400 controls the deck in the software, and a midi mixer controls the mixer section in the software.

But a midi mixer cant mix witout a dj software in use ;)
 
WHat has to be done set-up wise to get the DJ console MK2 to work with the VDJ and my 2 CDJ-400?
 
If you have the Pro Level Software it will allow you to hook up midi controls and soundcards desired. The Home Edition or LE version is limit controller functionality.
