Nothing will be changed in this process, the data is on the external drive that matters.
You can save your skins and plug in folders if you want to restore what you have now.

well it did not fix my problem
When am using VDJ and move the slider over or lower the volume you hear some nast distortion
I disabled the internet cards and still have the problem

That could have been your first post.
Lower the performance settings towards fastest and put the latency on auto with overclock and safe mode unchecked.
Restart the program and check again.
