Have you tried the berringer. Is it compatable with VDJ yet? Looks very interesting. I am a mobile DJ and as most mobile DJ's like things very compact.

I have not tried it yet, and for the money I will own one regardless, give me two so I have a back up.
As for wear, put an optical fader into it and forget about it IMO.
No telling where this is going by design.
I have seen pictures on their site that show a mini screen with a browser.
Can you say "sh!tcan the monitor while you are at it"?
Now yer talkin' compact, yup slap that thing on the desk, plug in a hard drive and start mixing.
